Meka Robotics
Meka Robotics was an MIT CSAIL spin-off founded by Aaron Edsinger and Jeff Weber that built compliant research robots using series elastic actuators. Its products included the M1 mobile manipulator and the S2 humanoid head, and it co-built Simon, Dreamer and HUME with university partners before Google bought it in December 2013.
