Why it matters
Bot Auto says its 29 April 2026 Houston-to-Dallas run was the first US commercial truckload delivered with no one in the cab, no in-cab observer and no low-latency remote driving.
Real-world use
After a driverless 40-mile validation run in Houston in September 2025, one of its 12 retrofitted tractors hauled a 230-mile overnight load for broker Ryan Transportation from Houston to Hutchins, near Dallas, on 29 April 2026.
