ARMAR-7
The newest robot in KIT's ARMAR family, built to help older people at home and in care facilities: two torque-controlled 8-DoF arms, 4-DoF underactuated hands with a camera in each palm, a 3-DoF head and a 2-DoF hip and knee on a three-omniwheel base. It takes spoken or gestured requests and has emptied dishwashers and sorted laundry in demos.
